Well, I have finally fallen victim to the world of blogging. I have spent way too much time reading everyone else's blogs so it is now time for me to start my own. So, with that said...WELCOME!! For those of you who do not yet know, or for those of you who are stalking this blog, let me introduce you to us.
We are Rob and Laura, we have a 1 year old boxer named Lily Bee, and we have 2 cats, Nantucket and Jetty (better known as the Noodle and the Joo). The cats are both from the pound so I am not sure how old they are. Rob and I met in West Palm Beach, Florida while we were both working at The Sailfish Marina. Although Rob was born and raised in West Palm I was able to convince him to move up north to The Cape because I missed it so much. We were married here last September on a perfect Cape Cod day. Now we are getting excited for this summer to kick into high gear and can't wait to meet our new baby in October! Yep, that's right, I am 18 weeks pregnant!! We are so excited to find out if we are going to be welcoming a little Ms. or a little Mr. Our big ultrasound will be tomorrow morning and I honestly feel like it is Christmas Eve and we are a couple of 5 year olds. Tomorrow morning can't come fast enough!!
So, now that I have filled you in on "us", I will leave you with some pictures becauseI know that no blog is complete without pictures.....Oh, and don't worry, we will fill everyone in tomorrow on our big baby news. I hope that you all enjoyed my first entry and I hope to become a consistent blogger...but, please leave me comments so I don't feel like a total loser!! ENJOY!

Oh, I am so excited about this blog. I am so awful in writing or calling, but I love you with all my heart. This baby is as exciting as having my own granchild. I just hope he/she has your gorgeous big brown eyes. I remember seeing you right after you were born and those eyes were amazing!
Love, Fran
Hi LA!!!!!
I've been counting the days right along with you...I hope you call soon with the sex of your sweet baby!!!!! I'm so glad you started blogging! Love ya! kc
Hey!! So happy for you, you dont even know! She is due on my birthday too, I love that. Love the mermaid rug! Caden has lots of mermid and other ocean stuff...I got her bedding at Pottery Barn Kids. love love love the whole damn blog. A few things we loved and a couple we didnt...
1. Her swing. She loved it, it kept her safe and happy so i could do other house stuff.
2. In her crib we had a fisher price aquarium light up, she loved to look at it when she was in her bed(put her there so shell sleep there later!!)
3.AQUAPHOR diaper cream. its the best.
4.Pak n Play. thats a give in i think.
5.A cover for the shopping carts.
Breastfeeding? Lanolin!!
dont waste money on diaper garbage cans for the nursery, they ALL SUCK!!just take the trash out more often! Changing tables are unnecessary too, unless it is one that is on top of a dresser. A stand alone table can only be used for a short while, by 8 months caden was trying to climb off. I change her on my bed. easier and safer.
preparing for a baby girl is the most fun in the whole world, we are blessed to have daughters!
If I think of anything else, I will let you know! Have fun Mama! and sleep as much as you can now girl, cause one she (do we have a name, I saw 'tug')gets here forget about sleeping!
