This is me with one of my baby dolls before I realized that I was completely scared of dolls. The only reason that I am posting this picture is to make sure that you realize that I was cute at one point in my life.
This is when things start to go down hill...I was such a tomboy! Notice the filthy dirty rope bracelet that I would never take off, the splint on my finger from spraining it while I was out playing some sport, and the nasty hightop sneakers. My family really should have stepped in and helped me , I was a mess!
Chubby chicks in short-shorts. Not pretty! I think that this was my 11th b-day at mini-golf. My mom made me cut my hair. Thanks mom! I totally looked like a boy!
What else could I do with my short haircut but get a perm. I have the straightest hair in the world but I thought that a perm would be a fabulous idea. I had to have the salon do it twice because it didn't take the first time ( I should have taken that as a hint). Notice the swatch watch. My dad bought me that at Filenes and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
Okay, now this picture needs an explanation more than the rest. It is so awful and no it wasn't Halloween!! I went with the French Club to Paris when I was in 9th grade. By the way, I only joined the french club so I could go on the trip! I had absolutely no sense of style so I let some of the other girls do my hair and make-up. We were headed out to a club (like I had any business being in a club in Paris in 9th grade) and I trusted them to make me look grown up. Now, I would have thought that they were just making me look like this as a joke, but if you notice, they look just as ridiculous as I do. So, off we went looking so grown up and we were back in our hotel room asleep within the hour. Big night out in Paris!!

I just have to admit real quick that I permed the exact same haircut when I was about that age! What the hell were we thinking!!! I will see about finding some incriminating pictures so you feel a little better about your own. Lets get Rob good too!

I can remember you at all of those stages in your life. I can remember being so jealous becasue you got your ears pierced really young (right after the short haircut) My mom said, But they had to, becuase her haircut made her feel so boyish. That appeased me, sort of. I was still really jealous. You were and are precious!
