Weekend Update!

So, we had a little cookout on Saturday. Jill and Tim are down so they came over and we grilled. Caitlin stopped by as well and watched us stuff our faces. Then Jill and Tim's friends Jody and Gretchen stopped by a little bit later. It was a fun night complete with Rob's famous fireworks and I even stayed up until almost 2am!!

Rob brought the Sirius radio out into the garage and set it up...kind of a ghetto set up if you ask me. Brown box, bucket, and a pizza box...whatever works, I guess!

She had a pair for her little girl and when I saw the picture of them I had to make a pair for the "Tug". Aren't they sooo cute?

On Sunday we started setting up the nursery, so fun! We painted the room a pale sage green (although it looks a little bit more blue than green). I think that it came out really nice. We set up the crib and Rob changed out all of the outlets so they are white instead of ivory. We definitely have lots more to do but here are some pics of how it looks so far.

Oh, and I changed my mind on the mermaid rug. The mermaid was starting to bug me a little bit. She had this smug look on her face that I couldn't get past. Anyway, I love this new rug so much more!! It is much more me and I like that I can pull in the reds and blues...We think that it is perfect!
