In other animal news...Noodle has found a great hiding place in the pack-n-play. I set it up the other day and she snuck right in. It may seem early to be setting up all of the baby stuff, but everything that we take out of the box is either broken or ripped so we are double checking everything! You never know...maybe the "tug" will make an early appearance. At least we will be ready if she does!
Since the last nursey update I have kept the door to that room closed. It was just too overwhelming for me to even think about. Well, I took a deep breath and opened the door today...How can such a tiny little person require so much stuff? Anyway, we got a lot accomplished but I didn't take an "after" picture since we still have more to do. Today I just conquered the closet so that everything had a place (at least for now). I am waiting for orders from Target and the Container Store to come so I can organize the dresser. Rob is working on putting the finishing touches on the dresser and we need to pick up a bookshelf from my mom's. Then we should be in pretty good shape. After the nursery is done I will move onto making room in the bathroom closet for her "toiletries" and then the kitchen to make room for baby food, bottles, etc. I stocked up on baby food 2 weeks ago when Target put out a coupon for $1 off 2 Gerber baby foods. Their jars of food cost $.52 each so if you do the math that comes out to $.02 per jar of food. When I say that I stocked up I really mean it! I printed the coupons off the computer and I think that I ended up using a total of 40 coupons. I did buy a lot of organic food so that was a little bit more expensive but still a great deal! If anyone wants a link to the coupon let me know and I can e-mail it to you. It expires on 8/15 so there is not much time left.
Here are some "before" pictures of the nursery...See what I mean about overwhelming!!
Oh, and one other thing, I have the best husband!! Look what he left on my nightstand for me. We only have the blue hydrangeas in our yard and they are starting to die so he went out and got me some purple ones. The "tug" is going to have the best daddy! I love you Mr

It is nuts how they have sooo much stuff! It only multiplies from here on too just so you know. In our house, right now, Polly Pockets seem to be multiplying! THey cant reproduce, can they?
Oh I love the yellow lab, how sweet is he?! And the nursery is looking so great...i can't wait to see it in person! You know after all that stuff she's still going to love the cardboard box the stuff comes in...he!he! Question is...are you going to allow her to have creepy dolls?!
