OK, I need your advice...For those of you who don't know, I work in a retail store all day. I see tons of customers on a regular basis. Since I have been pregnant I have only had 2 people ask me how far along I am, when I am due, or anything that has to do with me being pregnant. I know that people don't want to offend and are scared to ask in case you are just a little bit hefty...but, my gosh, I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and have gained almost 20 pounds. This is not a beer belly people! A girl came in yesterday who was pregnant and I asked her when she was due (3 weeks before me), when she didn't ask me back I told her that I was due in Mid-October. She and her mom looked at me and said "you're pregnant?" I was a little bit bugged! I had a regular t-shirt on that was tight and you can obviously see my belly. It's just that I would rather look pregnant than like a man who has been sipping off the keg for too long. I am thinking that I have a long torso and this is why my belly is more spread out. My Dr. tells me that I am lucky that I am a little bit taller so it is easier to carry the weight. My back really hasn't been bothering me too much at all...so I guess I am lucky. So, my question is...did any of you carry similar to me and go through the same thing? Should I just be happy that people are not telling me how huge I am and that I look like I am having twins? Please, to all of you moms out there, give me your input.
Other than that things are going along as usual around here. Rob and I are both working a lot. I picked up a couple of nights at Islands and he has his couple of nights valet-ing. Gotta keep the extra money coming in. There are a couple of days each week where I work at Claire Murray during the day and then go over to Islands right after to work until 10pm. I have to say that I am lucky to be able to do this. I don't feel overly tired and it is so much fun...I hope I can continue to do this for as long as possible. The nursery is coming along. We put up a red gingham bumper and crib skirt in the crib. It looks so cute! I am waiting for Rob to refinish a dresser that my mom and sister picked up for us at a yard sale for $10. We are going to paint it white and put seahorse drawer pulls on it to match the rug (see post below). I'll take more pics once we get a little bit more done. That's it for now! Have a great Tuesday!!

A picture of the drawer pulls for the dresser. (I know they look a little bit sharp and hazardous but I will wory about that once the "tug" is mobile.)

I think you look GREAT! And I love the drawer pulls. Your nursery will be so cute! Can't wait to see the finished product.
Hey there! Dont worry about the missing prego comments! In the long run and big picture - it is probably best!!!!! Maybe you can get a few of those pregant shirts that say when you are due or something! Give a little disclaimer in writing! Love you!
