Today was pretty much crappy...Rob and I both had to work tonight so we had a couple things to do before work and decided to meet up for 1/2 price sushi for lunch. Sounds Great, right? I was so excited for my spicy shrimp and avocado hand rolls but I started to feel sick as soon as I walked into the restaurant. I started to feel dizzy and clammy and just plain rotten. About 15 minutes later I decided that if I was going to pass out I would rather do it in the parking lot in my car than in the middle of the restaurant. I went out to the AC in the car while Rob paid and I completely missed my hand rolls. Such a bummer! I came home, called in sick to work, and just rested for a couple of hours. I think that I was just overly tired and probably had a little bit of a low blood sugar thing going on (sorry to Shauna and Jill for not calling you guys back). My problem however is that I have been having a hard time sitting still lately...I guess that this is what they call the "nesting" stage of pregnancy. While I was sitting on the couch trying to rest, my mind was haunted by all of the stuff that I should be getting done. Next thing you know I have a list of 20 things that I should take care of while I have this "free" time at home. It is 9:48pm and I have 17 things done...What the heck?
And while we are talking about my crappy day...Can I just say to Palmers that I hate you!!!

I have used you religiously since I found out that I was pregnant. You were supposed to prevent me from crying when I look in the mirror...Tonight you let me down big time! It is official...I have a stretch mark! Damn it! With 8 weeks left in this pregnancy I can only imagine the multiplying that they are going to do. GREAT!
On a lighter note I re-organized our bathroom closet to make room for the "tug's" toiletries. It was not a drastic difference, but I was able to make lots of room by throwing out a lot of stuff that we don't use (it is amazing how many bottles of lotions and potions a girl can acquire).
Here are the before and after pics (it's kind of fun to look in someone else's bathroom closet isn't it?)
BEFORE

AFTER
Oh, we had a yard sale on Sunday. I have to say that some of the people who shop at yard sales are a little bit wacky. At one point we almost had a brawl between 2 women who were both interested in the same item. And, we had another women who stayed for quite a while with us talking about nothing. She finally left after about 30 minutes so we were relieved until she came back to spend some more "quality" time with us. My sister was convinced that she was going to stay all day...she didn't, thank goodness! I was a little bit nervous in the beginning of the day because no one was showing up. The first people to buy something bought a hat for $.50. Not a great start to the day but I was excited that at least we made some money:
Excuse the awful picture of me...can you tell how exhausted I was? Anyway, we ended up making almost $300 by the end of the day which we were pretty excited about. We really only had some clothing and nic-nacs for sale (no furniture or "big money" items). So we thought it was quite a successful day!
And for those of you who are looking for this weeks belly pic...here it is. Along with one of Lily Bee resting on the "tug". Trust me when I say that you cannot see the "mark" in this belly picture...I would not do that to the blogging community!!
I hope you enjoyed this post...Now I can check #18 off my to do list!!

Dont stress about the stretch mark - just keep the Palmers going!!!! Some people might get discouraged right about now and just quit - but it is not the best idea! If it makes you feel any better, I just realized that I have a stretch mark from one of hte kids that I NEVER KNEW I HAD!!! UGHHH!!!! I saw it a few days ago on my lower belly....not cool! Not cool at all.
Slow down a little!!
