Well...almost done! I have to say that these pictures don't do it justice. The wall is a pale sage green and and the curtains and the furniture are white. We used black and white pictures in box frames of our family and friends to decorate the walls behind the crib. There are more of those to be added.
Here is the $10 dresser from a yard sale that Rob refurbished (I think that is the right word) and added the seahorse drawer pulls to. I hated the lamp that we had so Rob put in a dimmer switch and we picked out a nautical wall light to go above her changing table/dresser. We need to add something else to this wall, but I am not sure yet. We painted wall letters that spell out her name and they are hanging on a different wall in the nursey. I didn't take a picture of them because we have not told everyone her name yet...Don't worry, you will all find out soon enough and for those of you who think that you know already...you need to keep your mouth shut!

Here is the rocker that we repainted. We thought that we needed a little splash of color to match the red gingham crib skirt and the red geraniums in the rug. The chair pad matches the rug too.
The 'Tug's" very large bookcase. A lobster trap from our wedding centerpieces is on top along with some more pictures, books, and some other nautical pieces.

(on a sidenote i was reading this entry yesterday while sitting nxt. to Tim and i totally hit him and was like, "look at what Rob can do! wow, what a great guy! meanwhile we have atleast 5 unfinished projects sitting around our house, maybe I'll hire Rob!" yea...i was pissed! HA! Give that awesome Hubby a hug from me!)
Everything is beautiful! Especially YOU! Can't wait to kiss that baby. I talked to your mom this morning and we decided that Saturday would be a lovely day for you to go into labor. 37 solid weeks and maybe a nice 7lb baby (smile). That may be the only way you have a little baby considering your and Rob's family history for big babies. I am sending my Saturday wishes out to the stork to see what his plans are. Love y'all! kc
The nursery is beautiful! Just wait, before you know it a little tug will be laying in her bed, playing on her rug, and reading all her books!
