4. I gained 4 lbs in 6 days. But, in my defense, I always got to my Dr's appts first thing in the morning and this last one was at 2pm. And, it has been very humid here this last week. Those are good excuses, right?
5. Rob and I have finally perfected our half price sushi lunch. Very Exciting! See, we can eat a lot of sushi, and I mean a lot. So, it is imperative that we only go out for sushi when the restaurant is having it's half-price deal. We love any of the spicy rolls (shrimp, tuna, etc.) but they are more expensive so we just get the spicy sauce on the side and order plain rolls and dip them into the sauce. We can go out and order 10 different sushi rolls for only $28. Pretty amazing huh? Thank God my husband aquired a taste for this japanese cuisine..he is now a bigger fan of it than I am. He will try anything strange or new and usually likes it. For any of you who are concerned about my sushi consumption since I am pregnant...don't worry, I only get the cooked stuff and the veggies. Lots of shrimp and avocado rolls for me. I am wondering if anyone else sees a correlation between #4 and #5 on my list of random thoughts today...Sushi IS good for you!
6. Let's see, my work through me a shower on Tuesday night. It was nice to get together with the other ladies that I work with. We all work in different stores so we rarely see each other but we spend a lot of time back and forth on the phone everyday. We had a really nice time and the "tug" got some great stuff!
7. Kelly reminded me about the "Tug's" guess website. So, for any of you who have not yet posted your guesses, you are running out of time. And, for any of you that entered a date past the 25th, you may want to change it as I am pretty sure that they will induce me before that. And yes Kelly, there will be a prize for the person who guesses the closest!!
8. Supposedly grapefruit juice helps to alleviate swelling. I tried it last night and I think that it worked because my rings felt looser. I am going keep trying it...the only problem is that the heartburn situation is out of control and grapefruit juice does not help the situation. I have come to the decision that I would like to keep wearing my wedding and engagement rings throughout my pregnancy so therefore I will have to put up with the heartburn. If the old wive's tale is true then this baby is going to have a lot of hair!!
9. The "tug" had the hiccups twice yesterday. I have heard people talk about feeling their baby hiccuping but I never knew what they were talking about. Well, now I know. They were perfectly spaced out little soft thumps right in the same place. Each time they lasted for about 3-5 minutes. It was so cute though! Lay off the sauce in there little one :0)
10. That baby ticker cracks me up...I love to get on the computer on Friday just to see what it is going to say. In case any of you are worried...my butt feels fine!

i don't believe the old wives tale about heartburn because i had it like CRAZY. it was horrible and my baby has NO hair. i feel for you on the heartburn. hope you survive it these last few weeks. so close! can't wait to see your little baby!
Can't believe your so close to your due date! Next Friday, Oct. 5th, was always a good bday for me....maybe she should follow my example! I can't wait to come visit y'all! And yes, she can call me Queeny! Love and miss yall!
