So, Labor Day Weekend has come and gone here on Cape Cod. That officially means that Rob and I are both back to working just one job (Thank God) and that most of the tourists have left. Time to really get into baby mode now. Finish the nursery, wash the rest of the "Tug's" baby clothes, and buy all of the last minute stuff that we have been putting off. Since I haven't blogged much in the last week or so I'll fill you in on whatever I can remember:
This is Rob in a C-130. We went to the air show last weekend and we had so much fun. It was so cool to be able to get a tour of the same type of aircraft that Rob spent so much time in when he was in the airforce. Now when he talks about his days on a C-130 I can actually picture it.

Rob and Lily inspecting the box that our new garbage can came in. When did garbage cans become so expensive by the way? This one was $100...are you kidding me? It is only an 8 gallon can. We are returning it because even with a gift card I just cannot justify that!

Me, Kristi, and Shannon at our birthday dinner (Lobster Rolls) at my mom's. Notice that we didn't feel the need to dress up for the occasion.
Shannon and Lily
Lily desperately trying to hunt my mom's cats in the basement. She stayed in this position for most of the night. Every once in a while you would see a little paw shoot out from under the door. I think that Hula was trying to get Lily's nose.

We went to see Tony Bennett the other night at The Melody Tent...We go every year and I absolutely love him! I am such an old soul when it comes to music. We went out to the Roadhouse for dinner after wine and cheese at my mom's. Unfortunately I was not able to get a nice group picture of all of us...surprise, surprise! We went with Shannon and Michele, Michele's parents and my mom. It was such a great night...we have been so busy lately that it was nice to get out for a night.

You can't read it very well, but The Melody Tent Marquis says "See you in 2008". Usually the sign has the name of the next performer that will be playing there. Since the last show of the season is on Labor Day Weekend this is what they put up every year and it is a sure sign that the summer is over. It is always kind of a bummer when you drive by and see that sign up. This year it was not too sad to see as we have such an exciting fall coming up. My birthday is next Sunday and our anniversary is the following Sunday and then of course the arrival of the "Tug" in October!! It is going to be a great fall season!!

Oh, and here I am big as a house at 33 weeks

That's it for now...Happy Tuesday!!
