It's About Time...

Wow, it is so much harder to blog when you have a baby. Kudos to all of you out there who still do daily blogging even with babies. I have so much to say but by the time I get a chance to blog I have forgetten most of it. So here is the abridged version of what has been going on in the Bowen household:
Kaycee and her boys came up for a wedding and were able to make a side trip down to The Cape to meet Miss Payson. Chris came too but he had to go back early so we didn't get a chance to see him. Next time Chris!! Fran and Ed were also in town. It was so great to see everyone since we probably won't make it down to Texas this year for Thanksgiving. By the way Ed, you look Great!! ( Cooper decided that he didn't want to be in the picture)

Miss Lily Bee has been the best big sister ever! She is so protective of Payson. Here they are snuggling on the couch together. You can't believe how gentle she is with her.

Lily also met a new friend this weekend. Jill and Tim came down and brought their new puppy Toby. He is so cute and we had such a good time with them. My mom watched Payson while the 4 of us headed out for dinner and a cocktail. It was really nice to get out and have "adult" time. The only problem was that it happened to be in the middle of our first Nor'Easter "Noel". It was okay though because the 4 of us have weathered some pretty crazy hurricanes in Florida together. Mommy and Payson Jayne blogging in the baby bjorn! (in case you are wondering, I do have a tank top on...we are not that into skin-to-skin contact)

The bjorn was great while she was sleeping...but princess just woke up and we are back to blogging after I noticed poop oozing through her onesie. Then she decided to pee on the changing table down onto her clothes that we had picked out for today. Then after we were all set up in a new outfit she puked all over herself and her mother. No one ever said that Miss Payson Jayne was going to be an easy baby...not even her mother ;0) We have been doing "tummy time" pretty much everyday. Here is a picture of how it usually turns out...

The sweater in this last picture was my brother's when he was a newborn. I love the pointy hood on it.
