We went Christmas Tree hunting right after Thanksgiving. I have no patience when it comes to setting up our house for the holidays. If Rob would let me do it before Turkey Day I totally would. He thinks that we should celebrate one holiday at a time. I guess he's right but once Thanksgiving is over I am ready for Christmas and all of the decorations that go along with it. So, we loaded up the "fam" and headed out to find our tree. While we were trying to decide where to go I got a call from Sheila and Summer. Sheila told us about a small farm near them that had some great trees. We met up with them at "Cobweb Farm" and it was adorable. We had the best time drinking cider and walking around the farm. And although it was only 30 degrees out, the sun was shining and it was perfect Christmas tree shopping weather.

Payson was sooo excited to pick out her 1st tree...can't you tell?

Here we are in front of our tree although you can't really see it.
Here is the family truckster loaded up with our tree. We took the long way home down Route 6A just enjoying the day. "over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go.." I couldn't get that song out of my head the whole day!

Here she is...
The Bowen Family 2007 Christmas Tree!!
As usual she is way too big for our living room but that is just the way I like it. Afterall, who really needs to see the TV from the couch anyway?
Oh, and here is our baby wrapped in Christmas lights.

Checking your blog is my special treat every nite. Love to see what youre up to & what games you're playing w/the babe. Love the feet- and the lights- and pilgram getup and maryjanes and "george".
Your creativity continues!
Baby gets cuter by the day and you're just the ultimate little All American family. I smile everytime I log on here and am so happy for you. LOVE the new look! Kudos to whoever did it! Looks great.
Much ado at work- going downhill at a rapid pace now. Current plan is to jump ship and escape the insanity just before xmas (along w/ other big names). Unparallelled drama abounds! If it wasnt so stressful it would be so funny- As it is, we're keeping the vineyards in business and AA would be in our future if we stayed. Little Napoleon is on a total power trip- its a hoot- disagree or cross the imaginary line & you're out! Staff is dropping like flies & soon there will be no one left to run things. Latest joke- How many people does it take to run you know where? Answer- "One" if you're you know who! Hopefully i can keep my mouth shut til the last paycheck of the year and leave on my schedule! It will be a relief and my Xmas present to myself. later! Love you and hope to see you soon- Judy
