12 weeks, 3 months, I am confused!

Technically today is Payson's 3 month birthday. She was born on October 12th and today marks 12 weeks since she was born...WOW! Anyway, I am not sure how to keep up with how old she is. Do I keep counting each week or do I use the 12th of each month to keep track. I think that starting this month I will start counting the 12th of each month so that when her 1 year birthday rolls around we are not celebrating it in September. So, what that means to all of you is that you will have to wait until January 12th (Happy Birthday Laura!) to see her 3 month old picture. Funny how I transitioned from belly pictures every week to baby pictures every month. It is soooo much nicer to post pics of the baby rather than my humongous body!
Rob and I took Payson for her second round of shots this week...I think he realized why it was so upsetting for me the first time. He was shocked at how large the needles were for such a tiny baby. One of the band-aids even had some blood on it this time. Poor sweet baby!

We had a pretty mellow New Year's. Rob worked until 9pm and then came home with a bucket of champagne...he is so romantic ;0) Yes, that is Andre champagne...the cheap stuff. 2 for $10...just the way I like it. I think that it was the first alcohol I ever tried in high school and I still love it! LOSER! We watched the ball dropped and smooched. And that was it for our big New Year's Eve...we are officially parents.

We bought an elliptical machine for Christmas and I love it. We probably spent too much money on it, but it is a really good one that I know we will use. It is just too hard to get to the gym now with Payson Jayne in tow. We are determined to be in great shape by Rob's birthday in June. I will fill you in on all of the weight loss details in a future post. I want for you all to hold me accountable but I am not sure yet what exactly my goals are. I'll let you know within the week. I am going to need some inspiration from you Kelly...you are amazing!

Here are a couple pics from the last week or so:
The "bucket"
Not exactly thrilled about the Bumbo
I just love fresh out of the bath pics. We always wrap her up in that blue towel...It is so soft!

Rockin' her sparkle shoes that I made her when I was pregnant...I stole the idea from Laura's mother-in-law! So Cute!

Chris' birthday is January 12th so you can celebrate big time. It is his big 35. Seems like just yesterday that we were marking each month. They grow so fast, so enjoy celebrating each ocassion that comes around. This will be the first time in many, many years that I wasn't able to make his favorite cheesecake for his birthday.Your daughter is so beautiful, Kaycee could hardly wait to get her hands on her. Hope when you come to town I can see you and your precious family.

I love the recent posts! I can't believe how big Payson Jayne is getting! Good luck on your workout/weight loss plans- I know you'll do great, considering you have the elliptical at home now...

Much love in the New Year!

So PJ is 3 months younger than Toby, he was born July 11th and he'll be 6 months on Jan. 11. She will love that when they both grow up.

Also i love how you said "bucket" and i was thinking silver, fancy bucket but you really meant a bucket. So Rob...So Timbo. And we love the Andre, best stuff for mimosas. I got your msg. but i'm at work so i will try and call after 5.

Happy, Happy New Year !
You can have that little sweeties natal day anytime you want! What a little cutie she is! Her smile just seems to get bigger by the day. Can't wait to get my hands on her and see you both with your "new" bodies! You'll do so great having a machine at home!!!
Think of you so often and love the pics! Love, Judy

Ok...you posted alot in the past 2 days. I definitely go with counting the months opposed to weeks. It just gets too confusing with weeks. If you told me that Payson was 43 weeks old, I would have no idea if we were talking about a 6 month old or a 3 year old! :) Ok - that is a little dramatic - but that is what I am here for! And..I love the shoes. The champagne looks delish...so glad you could join us in the era of boring new years eve's! Love you! Oh - and Happy Birthday Pat!!!
