So, yesterday started out pretty normal. Rob and I both had the day off and Payson was hanging out in her Jumperoo with Sophie the giraffe...
We decided to go out for lunch and do some errands. We headed off Cape because I have a new addiction to Red Robin...kind of strange since I don't eat meat and this is a burger joint. I love it because you can order a veggie burger but they will put anything on it. I had mine with guacamole, cheese, onion straws, lettuce and some other stuff. Not so good for the diet but Oh So Good!! Anyway, Miss Payson decided to wake up right as we pulled in to the parking lot. I was hoping that she would sleep through lunch, no such luck. So, we go in and order and she does really well for about 15 minutes then she starts to get a little bit bored/fussy. We take turns eating while the other walks her around the restaurant which was fine. As we are finishing up we are realizing that she is really going to start to melt at any minute so we get the check and hand the waiter my debit card. He comes back and tells us that it didn't go through. WHAT?? It's linked to my checking account and I am sure that there is money in there. So, Rob gives him his debit card and he comes back and tells that it didn't go through either. Now, the baby is crying and we are starting to panic. We are not using any credit cards anymore (just our debit cards) but I have an emergency american express card that I hold onto just in case. So, we hand him that card and he tells us that it isn't going through either. What the heck? Now we look like the biggest idiots because we have 3 different cards that won't go through and we are the annoying couple with the screaming baby. Wonderful!! And by the way, my gas tank was completely empty so we didn't have any way to get home if our cards weren't working (about a 30 mile ride). The waiter talks to the manager and they decide that they would take care of our lunch for us. They either felt really bad for us or they just wanted us to get the hell out of there! We get out to the car and I can't find my keys...Oh my God, they must have fallen out of my pocket at the table. I couldn't bring myself to walk back inside so Rob had to go in. I was too embarassed! So here I am holding a screaming baby in 30 degree weather next to my car that I don't have the keys for. I dig through the diaper bag and find the keys at the bottom of it. Poor Rob is inside looking under our table as Payson and I pack ourselves into the car. When Rob comes out he tells me that they were having a problem with their computers and that it wasn't our cards afterall! Are you kidding me? They insisted they pay for the lunch anyway for the inconvenience...so I guess it worked out well in the end. But, I still do love Red Robin and we will go back...And, we were able to do some extra shopping with the money we saved. While we were out we stopped at Petco because we wanted to redo our aquarium and we needed some supplies. Payson loved the Nemo fish:
Long Post! Have a Great Thursday!

I really love you, but I am so glad you are starting to have those KILLER moments that we have been having for the last 6 years!!!! It is just nice to have someone to sympathize and NOW you can!!! You got free food - yay!!!!
That story made me so sad! I'm so glad there was nothing wrong with your finances!
Also, love the aquarium! That's so cool that Payson was so engrossed in the fishies!
