Rob is stay-at-home dad today while I am at work. This morning while I was getting ready he made me my oatmeal and packed me a lunch. He put in one of those little pudding snack packs and asked me what I would do if he didn't put in a spoon for me to eat it with. Would I eat it anyway with just my fingers? How is that for random morning conversation? Oh, and he even peeled the orange for me...am I a lucky girl or what?
In other news...my mom, Payson, and I went out for lunch yesterday and since the princess decided to "melt" while we were there, I got my food to go and took my diet coke with me. While I was putting the melting baby in her carseat I put my soda on top of the car. You know what happened next. We drive away with it still on the roof and I am trying for the life of me to figure out what is dripping down the side of the car. My mom lets me know that this is the first of many absent-minded mommy things that will now be a part of my life.
For your viewing pleasure...here is a pic of the wee one jumping in her jumperoo with her awesome bunny hat that Shannon and Michele gave her. It is one of the few hats that she will tolerate on her head.

And, in case you are wondering what my answer was to my husband's question...I told him that I wouldn't use my fingers but I would probably lick as far down as I could. Hey it's chocolate okay...give me a break! What would you do?

Hi Laura,
What a beautiful child.....such a handsome family! Yes, You are a Lucky Lady to have such a thoughtful, caring husband....I am sure it goes both ways! (I am blessed with a great guy, too...but it always bummed me out when people would only comment on his attributes.)
Don't worry about the absent mindedness....it's not a bad club to be a part....happens to the best of us! At least you didn't leave your child there. My biggest boo boo was when I left my 2nd child sound asleep in another room while visiting Nana & Grampa.....I drove away without her 'cause I forgot I now had two daughters! You do feel like such a dufus, tho'! :o)
It is so nice to see that you are all doing so well.
Lots of love to you and your Mom,
Jan
(Fran's niece)
Oh, Shauna did a great job....of course she had a lovely model!
