For those of you who have never heard of the Figawi it is a sailing race from Hyannis to Nantucket over Memorial Day Weekend. The week before the race however is the Figawi Ball. We go every year but missed last year because I was pregnant (this is one of those things that is just not quite as fun without a cocktail or two or three). Anyway, we like to refer to it as the Cape Cod Prom ...a bunch of dressed up adults, a bunch of food, a bunch of gambling, and a bunch of alcohol. Sounds like a bunch of fun, doesn't it? Well it is! Some people take it very seriously and go all out with their ball gowns, tuxs, make-up, hair, etc...we don't . Actually we kind of go to people watch those people. So, we had a blast and can't wait for next year. Here are some pictures from the "Ball".

Oh LB, we so wanted to go this year! That one year we all went was an absolute BLAST! I promise, next year we will be there! We were at the Bob Dylan concert in Maine this year...
