We went to Thornoton Burgess again for story-hour with Laura, Olivia, and Sophia. It is so cute and I am so bummed out that today was the last day. Laura and I started off with a 4-mile run/walk (more walk than run) and we ended up at the museum just in time for the girls to enjoy the stories. Each week the lady who reads to the kids brings along a "creature" for the kids to discover. This week it was a land tortoise named Sir Speedy. The tortoise was allowed to roam around the lawn after the stories were over and the girls loved playing follow the leader with him.
Although Mary was a great story-teller, the girls had other things on their mind at the moment I took this picture. Olivia was deep in thought, Payson was busy getting ready to chew on Olivia's flip flop...
...and well, we just couldn't get Sophia off her cell phone...Busy Lady!
Once Sir Speedy came out to play the girls couldn't wait to play with him.
Sophia and Payson bonded over some dirt.

OMG, I love those pictures of Payson and Sophia! You have to keep them so in about 10 years we can show them what great friends they already were at that age! I am also bummed that today was the last story time. Let's keep our Monday routine because I love our little walk/run! It is a perfect way to start off the week! Love ya!
