We went to the bogs today. Why, you may ask...because it was rainy and foggy and dreary and I can't stand one more minute inside my house. So, I loaded up the fam and dragged them out into the dreariness. And, you know what, it was actually pretty warm out and the bogs looked so cool with the fog hanging heavy on them.
She just loves the great things that come along with a rainy day...puddles and mud! She did not have the appropriate shoes on for this but we went with it anyway. Needless to say she was covered in mud and soaking wet from the knees down.

2 posts in one night...it's amazing what I can accomplish when the man is not around!

I love (and miss!)those misty/rainy Cape Cod days- especially when it's warm and not too windy! With kids outdoors, you just have to let go and let them get a little dirty. I hate to have ruined clothes...but having the kids exploring and enjoying nature is worth the extra laundry.
Oh those braids on Miss P are just delightful! And all of her smiles are precious.
