When Lightning Strikes

These last couple of weeks have been quite an adventure to say the least. Last week while I was working we had a terrible storm come through. It was short but intense with cloud-to-ground lightning, hail, and lots of thunder. To make a long and terrifying story short our front yard was struck by lightning right outside of the window I was working next too. I have never heard anything like that sound and I am just glad that my mom had Pay at her house. The lightning blew out the cable, internet, and garage door opener but now the electricity...weird. And right behind out fish pond there is a tree stump with a motor connected to it. The motor was blown off the tree all over the yard and into the street.

Thank Goodness all of the fish were okay as was our resident frog "Mr. Green Jeans":
