While we were in Virginia we took a drive on Skyline Drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains. We kept telling Pay that we were going on a bear hunt since that is currently her favorite book (thank you Katie and Eric). Well sure enough, we saw a baby black bear high up in a tree. It was very, very cool!
We also saw 5 deer...this one was so camouflaged that you could barely see it:
Besides the bear, Pay's favorite thing was definitely the milkweed growing along the side of the road:

Wow I can't believe that big bear is balancing up so high in the tree! I never realized they were such good climbers.
