Okay here is the rundown on this pregnancy.
At our first appt. they were not able to hear the heartbeat with the Doppler. Scarey! We had to come back a couple of hours later to have an u/s done...those couple of hours were an awful waiting game. Obviously everything was fine and as soon as the u/s tech put the wand on my stomach you could see the heart beating perfectly. What a sense of relief.
I was able to survive the first trimester with very little morning sickness again. I had some nausea at night but I think it had to do with my pre-natal vitamin more than anything. I did throw up once randomly in the beginning of my 2nd tri which was funny because I only threw up once with Pay too. I was convinced I was having another girl. I am much more dizzy with this pregnancy...makes me nervous when I am carrying Pay around. I have bad heartburn and gag every single time I brush my teeth (same as first pregnancy).
It took a long time before I felt any kicks from this little man. I didn't feel the first tap until 18 weeks and 3 days with more regular kicks to follow at 19 1/2 weeks.
Rob will tell you that I am not nearly as sweet as I was the first time around. I am sure this has a lot to do with having a toddler to keep up with though. As of my 22 week appt I have gained a lovely 15 lbs. I am so hoping to not pack on the 40 I gained with Pay. We'll see about that! Let's just say I am not exactly craving the healthiest snacks.
I will leave you (Carrie)with some terribly unflattering belly pics:

And just so you can see how huge I have become with this pregnancy here is a shot of me at 31 weeks with Pay. They aren't kidding when they say you get bigger faster the second time around!
