Since Rob started riding when he was just a little boy, we knew we wanted to get Pay interested in horses. We found a beautiful farm and made a visit there this morning. She won't be able to start any type of lessons for a couple of years but we want her to get comfortable around horses in the meantime. Don't let her face fool you, she absolutely LOVED the horses! It was the annoying mama with the camera that was bugging her.
This is Prince the pony...he was so gentle and calm but she still hung onto his mane very tightly. Notice how proud the dada is in these pictures:
After about 2 minutes there was some genuine love between Pay and Prince...so sweet!
The owners were also very interested in Rob's handyman skills and are thinking of doing some trade with him. This could mean lots of potential riding in his future...we'll see.

So cute!! If Rob could do enough work for Michelle to ride too that would be great, :-)
We have a girl very interested in horses here. Now she's finally old enough to trade her own work skills (mucking out the barn) in exchange for some riding every week. Horseback riding can be such a confidence booster for young people...definitely good.
And the look on the Papa's face is so sweet. You can just see how excited he is.
Yup thats right mom. You can get me a horse! that would be good! :D
