A Busy Day Complete With Lots of Critters...

Yesterday we went to an egg hunt with Katie, Eric, and Sam. This is the look we got from Pay when we told her there were kids coming over to get some of the eggs she was collecting...love it!

We had a crazy day today...including a trip with Sam and Katie to the Green Briar Nature Center for story hour. A story about Peter Rabbit complete with a live Peter Rabbit to pet and snuggle. Then we headed out to the gardens and enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL weather!
Pay collecting purple flowers:
And Sam loving the daffodils:
Then we got up close and personal with a swan on the pond:
When dada got home from work he brought Pay a yellow-spotted salamander that she thinks is just about the coolest thing ever...She named him "Leaf the Lizard". They went out in the yard to collect things for his new home including some worms to eat:
Then we headed to one of our favorite spots to enjoy some more of the sun:
And we found some super-huge mutant crabs! Finally, we came home and got ready for the Bunny:

What a wonderful pic of you and Miss Payson! Your belly makes a nice perch for that little lady!

You are such a beautiful mom! Can't wait for little B to arrive!
