The boy was healthy and happy going into his 1 year appointment...
he weighed in at 24.2lbs which is around the 75th %-ile, he is 32 inches long which puts him in the 97th %-ile, and his big, wonderful head is still off the charts at 20 inches.
While we were there we discovered that he had a double ear infection. No symptoms at all. Hello antibiotics...Ugghhh!
We brought him in again this past Friday because he had a fever and seemed to be breathing too quickly. They sent us home with a nebulizer which seemed to do the trick in the office. Well, when we got home from there we couldn't get the fever down and his breathing got worse. So the dada and the Buggy headed to the ER and spent 4 hours (from 10:30 -2:30am). Such a fun place to be on a Friday night ;o)
He has Pneumonia. Poor little man. Luckily he didn't need to be admitted and he seems to be doing much better.
