hi laura. we had the Nature's Touch Baby Papasan Cradle Swing. I must say, I LOVED it. I am so sad it doesn't work anymore. She was an extremely fussy baby and that was the ONLY place I could put her and she would sleep. She slept 8 hours a night in it. But, it only works apparantly until 15 lbs. It says it goes until 25, but I don't think that is true. Also, I heard from a lot of other people who loved it and used it a lot that the motor basically burns out. SO, I do recommend it, but there are draw backs. Maybe you could find a swing that goes up to 30 lbs or something so in case your baby loves it, it will last longer. We found a swing yesterday by the same company, fishers price, that also swings side to side and holds an older baby and she liked that one. I'm sorry to write a book, but I hope that somewhat helped.
